Jail Ticket & Logs

The actions of a Jail ticket is simple. Attempt to resolve the issue as quickly as possible.

Release Inmate - This issues the /release command automatically

Ban Inmate - This issues a server level Ban.

Close Ticket - Once the inmate has been released or banned, please remember to close tickets. Again, there is a Hard Limit that Discord allows. If we exceed the limit all other ticketing functionalities will break.

  • Closing a Ticket will not immediately close. You MUST remember to Select "Yes" on the initial prompt:

  • Once you select Yes, it is STILL not closed. You MUST go to the Closed Jail Tickets and select "Transcript & Delete"

  • This will completely delete the channel and log the transactions only AFTER you click Yes again. This will give a 10 sec count down before completely deleting the channel

LOGS

There are 4 Jail channels under the Jail Category:

  • Ban jail action log - When issuing a ban, copy and paste any supporting evidence of the ban for future reference.

  • Create Dispute Ticket - This is the Only channel a jail inmate can see. (Only applicable if you forget to create a ticket when you jailed the member)

  • Jail Logs - This log will capture the Jail Reason, and all the member's roles prior to being jailed. This will also log the jailed time, planned release date, and who the jailer is.

  • Jail Admin Logs - This is the channel that the full transcription of the Jail ticket will file.
