Jail Introduction

General policy information

Jail bot can be configured servery-by-server. We have chosen not to implement may of JailBot's features such as: Retain certain roles, exclude/include certain channels. To get the most out of Jailbot refer to this guide for server specific setup.

• JailMod - Only a Jail mod may Jail, Release, and Ban members from Jail.

• Jail Inmate - When a user is jailed, JailBot will remove and remember all roles assigned to a user and replace it with the Jail Inmate Role. Jail Inmates will only have access to #create-dispute-ticket and their own dispute ticket

• Sr. Mod & Moderator - These roles will have the permission to view and interact with jail inmates, but will not have the permission to issue a Jail unless they have the JailMod role

• Asst Admin & Server Admin - Will have full JailMod access *must have JailMod role.

Using Jail should be a LAST resort.

Jailing a user essentially bans them from the Server but allows you to communicate with them still.
